General Terms of Service
By engaging my services, you agree to the terms outlined below. These terms may be updated from time to time.
Payment Terms
• Upfront payment is required to begin services.
• Additional costs may apply for PayPal payments, depending on the payment method used.
• All prices are exclusive of VAT, which will be added where applicable.
Services
• Services are month-to-month, with the flexibility to cancel at any time, subject to the termination notice period.
• Packages and services may be customized based on client needs and will be outlined in the service agreement.
Content Approval
• Content will be shared for approval via Trello (or other preferred methods, such as WhatsApp), based on your preference.
• Once content is approved, it will be scheduled for posting. Any post-publishing edits will incur additional fees.
Ownership of Content
• Upon full payment, the client will own the content created.
• The social media manager retains the right to use the content for promotional purposes (portfolio, website, social media) unless otherwise agreed.
• Any third-party materials provided (such as licensed stock images) remain the property of the original source.
Content Revisions
• The client is entitled to a specific number of revisions, which will be discussed and agreed upon at the start of the project.
• Additional revisions beyond the agreed number will incur extra charges.
• Changes requested after content is published (e.g., post edits) may incur an additional fee.
Social Media Account Access
• The client is responsible for providing all necessary access to their social media accounts (e.g., admin or editor roles).
• The social media manager is not liable for any issues related to account access, platform changes, or access restrictions.
• The client is also responsible for securing their account(s) and updating login credentials when needed.
Communication
• The client agrees to provide timely feedback and communication, especially in relation to content approvals and revisions.
• Delays in communication may result in delays to the project or services.
• Preferred communication methods (e.g., email, Trello, WhatsApp) should be established at the beginning of the project.
Client Responsibilities
• The client agrees to provide all necessary materials (branding guidelines, logos, images, videos, etc.) in a timely manner.
• Failure to provide required assets may result in delays and may affect the quality of deliverables.
• The client must keep their social media platforms up to date with accurate information and branding.
Confidentiality
• Both parties agree to keep all business information confidential and not disclose it to third parties without prior written consent.
• This includes marketing strategies, business data, client communications, and any other proprietary information.
Late Payments
• Late payments may incur a fee, and services may be paused or terminated until payment is received.
• Services will be reinstated once payment has been received, but this may result in delays in scheduled content.
Termination of Services
• Either party may terminate the services with a 30-day written notice.
• Upon termination, any outstanding payments for services rendered up to the termination date will be due.
• If services are terminated before the end of the billing cycle, the client will be responsible for payment for the remaining balance.
Force Majeure
• Neither party will be held liable for any delay or failure to perform due to causes beyond their reasonable control, including but not limited to, natural disasters, labor disputes, or changes in social media platform policies.
• In such cases, both parties will work together to establish a revised schedule or solution.
Refunds
• No refunds will be issued for services already rendered.
• If services are canceled mid-month, the remaining balance will be due based on the services provided up until the cancellation date.
• Should the client wish to resume services after cancellation, they will be required to pay the current standard price or any applicable new special offer available at that time.
Discounts and Special Offers
• If a any client receives a discount or special offer and later cancels services, or skipped month/months the discount or special offer will be voided upon their return.
• Upon resuming services, the client will be required to pay the current standard price or any new special offer available at that time.
